Repül az idő: már tíz év telt el azóta, hogy az első tábortüzet meggyújtották a Toroczkai László hívószavára szerte a Kárpát-medencéből összegyűlt lelkes fiatalok, a Dunakanyar szívében a Kismaros és Verőce között található Csattogó-völgyben.

Azóta több tízezren vettek részt a rendezvényen, ami már a kezdetektől több volt, mint egymás mellé tett nemzeti programok halmaza, hiszen közösségteremtő hatása miatt egy állandó biztos ponttá vált a nemzeti oldalon küzdő hazafiak számára. A jubileumi fesztivál előkészületeiről kérdeztük Zagyva György Gyulát, a rendezvény főszervezőjét.

-Mikor lesz az idei Magyar Sziget?

-A szokásos időpontban: augusztus első hetében, augusztus 2-9. között, Verőce és Kismaros találkozásánál, a Csattogó-völgy üdülőfaluban.

-Az idei a tizedik fesztivál. Készültök-e valamilyen különlegességgel?

-A rendezvény csütörtöki napját, augusztus 5-ét választottuk ki a születésnap megünneplésére. Természetesen több meglepetéssel készülünk erre a különleges alkalomra, amit most nem árulnék el, mert különben nem lesz meglepetés. A napközbeni programok során is lesz több olyan pont, ahol emlékeztetni fogjuk a közönséget, hogy ez a tizedik fesztivál, és egy születésnapi buliban vendégeskednek. Természetesen ennek minden szokott kellékét be fogjuk vetni, például egy óriási szülinapi tortával fogjuk megvendégelni a szigetlakókat. Az igazi különlegesség szerintem az esti születésnapi koncert lesz, aminek a megvalósítását az Oi-KOR zenekar vállalta magára, és ezúton is szeretném nekik megköszönni, hisz óriási munkába vágták a fejszéjüket azzal, hogy az általam elképzelt koncepcióhoz hozzárakva a saját ötleteiket, január óta készülnek a közel három órás produkcióra.

-Akkor ezek szerint nem akármilyen koncerttel ülitek meg a születésnapot.

-A Magyar Sziget tizedik születésnapi koncertje úgy lesz teljes, hogy azokat az előadókat, akik a kezdetektől fogva fellépnek a rendezvényen, vagy esetleg később csatlakoztak, de majdnem mindegyiken ott voltak, meghívjuk erre a koncertre; és egy általuk kiválasztott számukat előadják. A tavalyi évben már spanyolok, olaszok, hollandok flamandok, lengyelek, horvátok, franciák, angolok nemzeti szervezetei képviseltették magukat. Ez úgy látszik egy öngerjesztő folyamattá vált: az idén más országokból is jelezték szervezetek, hogy ők is részt vennének, például Németország és Svédország hazafias szervezetei. Ez természetesen az idén is folytatódik az eddig megszokott programokkal. Újdonságként kedveskedünk a gyerekeknek egy ősi magyar mondákat bemutató bábszínházzal. Lesz külön gyermekkoncert és természetesen gyermek táncház is.
