Mint arról már beszámoltunk, soha nem látott nézettséget ért el a videómegosztókon az a riport, melyet a Rovás Alapítvány közbenjárásával a japán állami televízióban, az NHK csatornán vetítettek le. Minderről végre az MTI is beszámol, s ennek köszönhetően több állami és egyéb országos médiumban megjelent őseink írása.
Az MTI írása, mely azóta többek között a hirado.hu-n, a mandiner.hu-n, a mult-kor.hu-n a bumm.sk-n, boon.hu-n és a Duna TV valamint a Kossuth Rádió honlapján is megjelent:
Tíz nap alatt minden idők legnézettebb rovásírás-témájú videójává lépett elő az interneten az a kisfilm, melyet a japán közszolgálati televízió (NHK) készített hazánkban a székely-magyar rovásírásról – tudatta szerdán az MTI-vel a produkció szolnoki közreműködője.
Sípos László elmondta: a kuratóriumi elnökként általa vezetett magyarországi Rovás Alapítvány és a Japán Állami Televízió közös szerkesztésében 2010. január 12-én került az Ohajo Nippon (Jó reggelt, Japán) című reggeli adásba a kisfilm. A produkció rövidesen felkerült a legismertebb internetes videomegosztóra, majd február 20-án elkészült és ugyancsak a YouTube-on is megjelent ennek magyar nyelvű felirattal ellátott változata.
A témával foglalkozók között világszerte futótűzként terjedt el ennek híre, így a film két változatát másfél hét leforgása alatt több mint 40 ezren töltötték le, melyek ennek köszönhetően a legnézettebbekké váltak a YouTube-on megtalálható rovással és rovásírással foglalkozó anyagok között. Azóta a magyar feliratos változat letöltéseinek száma meghaladta az 50 ezret, a két változat együtt pedig a 60 ezer letöltést közelíti.
Az elnök szerint a japán forgatócsoport azonnal felismerte a rovásírás különlegességét. Mindemellett lenyűgözte a forgatócsoportot a rovás formavilága, valamint a jobbról-balra tartó írásmód is, hiszen 80 évvel ezelőttig a felkelő nap országában élők is így írtak.
„A kisfilm hatására egyre több japán munkakapcsolatomban sikerül a rováskultúrát megismertetnem. Az elkövetkezendő egy évben például további filmek elkészítését, japán nyelvű könyv kiadását és egyetemi szintű nyelvészeti tanácskozás megszervezését tervezzük” – mondta el a Rovás Alapítvány kuratóriumi elnöke.
Sípos László már gyermekkorában elsajátította ezt az ősi székely-magyar írásformát, 4-5 éve pedig a civil szervezet égisze alatt tudományos kutatómunkát végez e különleges kulturális örökség megújításának, a kommunikációs technológiába történő átültetésének, valamint a magyar közoktatásba való beemelésének lehetőségeiről.
A szolnoki születésű építészmérnök-közgazdásznak Japán a második otthona. Még a Tisza Táncegyüttes tagjaként, az 1980-as években járt ott először, később azonban olyannyira magával ragadta a felkelő nap országa és az ott élő emberek mentalitása, hogy kerek egy évtizeden át élt és tanult a távol-keleti országban.

Furcsának találom ezt a kijelentést, hiszen Japánban MA is jobbról-balra haladnak a sorok, ha függőlegesen írnak.
Vízszintes írás esetében, csak járművek feliratain, illetve szentélykapukon látható jobbról-balra haladó írás. A vízszintes írás esetében inkább a balról-jobbra tartó írás a jellemző.
Régebben valóban előfordult az, hogy könyvcímeket is írtak vízszintesen, de jobbról-balra.
Ez a "80 évvel ezelőttig" is furcsa, hiszen a vízszintes, balról-jobbra haladó írásmód csak a 2. vh után jelent meg, de mint feljebb írtam is, nem szorította ki a függőleges, jobbról-balra haladó írásirányt.
