A Hatvannégy Vármegye Ifjúsági Mozgalom (HVIM) erdélyi és partiumi szervezetei által rendezett II. Székely Sziget fesztiválra július 9-10. között, a Kézdivásárhely melletti Fortyogó-fürdőn kerül sor.
A Székely Sziget a 2000-es Millenium évében indított és azóta tizedik éve, egyre növekvő sikernek örvendő Magyar Sziget öntudatfejlesztő, nemzetépítő misszióját kívánja folytatni Székelyföldön és Erdély, valamint Partium többségben vagy szórványban magyarok által lakott területein.
A második Székely Szigetet az önszerveződés, kultúrahordozás és hagyományőrzés jogos igénye hívja életre, hiszen lassan már Erdély magyar örökén is szembesülnünk kell a globalizáció ártalmaival. Nekünk márpedig nem áll szándékunkban elvándorolni, hiszen Partium és Erdély az otthonunk, sem pedig a devalválódás és a politikai színjátékok kénye-kedve szerint ugrálni. A szabadosság, a közöny és a céltalanság hatalmas károkat okoz a magyar ifjúság lelki és szellemi kibontakozásában. Ezért tartjuk fontosnak, hogy egész Kárpát-hazát átölelő nemzeti szervezetként egyre több helyen építsünk ki olyan közösségi bázisokat, mint a Remény Házai vagy Mozgalmunk alapítója, Toroczkai László által létesített Magyar Sziget fesztivál hagyományának megfelelő rendezvények.
A Székely Sziget öntudatfejlesztő előadásait évről évre a lehető legváltozatosabb, igényes nemzeti programokkal akarjuk bővíteni. Szeretnénk segíteni magyar nemzettársainknak, hogy végképp legyőzzük nemzetünk legfőbb ellenségeit: a lemondást és a közönyt, hogy ezredéves hagyományaink, történelmünk, zenei népdalkincsünk tiszta forrásából erőt merítve hittel, hűséggel és bátorsággal vállaljuk fel sorsunkat, önrendelkezésünket, hogy gyermekeinkre valóban egy szebb jövőt hagyhassunk.
